history
Per Sone Stenkula, President and Founder of Swede Success Studios, is an
International Fine Arts Dealer with more than thirty years of business experience.
Per's expertise ranges from 19th and 20th Century paintings, drawings and
sculpture, to works by the most modern, contemporary expressionists. Per's
qualifications extend far beyond those of the typical art dealer. His life's
experiences have armed him with a unique perspective for assessing the value
and the interpretation of Fine Art. Included in his mastery is an extraordinary
ability to identify the talented emerging fine artists of this 21st Century.
Per was influenced by the Arts at a very young age. He attended his first
opera at age five and purchased his first oil painting at eight. From early
on, the world of Art became his life, and at sixteen Per left Sweden to begin
his worldwide adventure. With exposure to the rich and varied cultures of
the world Per was offered the perfect opportunity to view and assess the treasures
that surrounded him. He never passed the door of a museum without entering.
In the late 1950's Per lived in Spain and where he had contact with many famous artists. Most memorable were his visits with Salvador Dali at his home in Figueras, and the time spent with Miro at his home in Majorca. After finally returning to Sweden, Per attended Lund University where he incorporated formal studies with his worldly experiences.
In 1984 he relocated to Central Florida where he met and married Trish Elderbrook, President and Founder of TE&Co, an International IT Search Firm based in Central Florida. This "merger" of Per's Fine Art expertise with the technical and communication skills of Trish has provided Swede Success Studios with the ideal mix to successfully search, identify and introduce emerging fine artists.
As a Master Dealer and Founding Charter Member of Sotheby's On Line Auctions,
Per has embraced this wonderful opportunity to present to the "World
of Collectors" the most remarkable and talented artists to emerge in
this century.
