Cheri Riechers b. 1946 American

Resides in Orlando, Florida. Her artwork is exhibited throughout the United States and collected internationally by both private collectors and corporations. Certain skills learned from her years spent as a business consultant, along with the observation of relationships in the workplace, have had a great impact on her artwork. She believes the stress of balancing the demands of both career and personal responsibilities can often dilute the importance of family. Much of her work evolves around a family theme. Understated, yet bold and dramatic, many paintings have a circular movement, depicting the cyclical flow of life. Using acrylics as her medium, she layers face over face, often merging the two faces so that they become part of one another.
